Beacon Hill At Eastgate is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), offering a full continuum of care from Independent Living to Skilled-Nursing Care. • Independent Living - Independent Living At Beacon Hill is just like living in a home without the day-to-day burdens of being a homeowner. Beacon Hill offers residents 13 different apartment home styles to choose from. Ranging in size from 735 to 1,500 square feet, the private apartment homes are designed to reflect the attractive residences of the surrounding neighborhood communities. Each apartment home features a well-appointed kitchen and other amenities. In addition, residents living here have access to three different dining venues located within a short walking distance from their apartment home. Underground parking, wireless internet, full concierge services as well as housekeeping, laundry and transportation are all included as part of residential life here.  Finally, Beacon Hill is conveniently located near several major shopping centers, restaurants, houses of worship and downtown Grand Rapids.

• Assisted Living - Located on the Beacon Hill At Eastgate campus, The Mary And Martha Center is home to our assisted living program. Licensed nurses and trained resident assistants provide individualized support with bathing, dressing, eating, medication monitoring, as well as other activities of daily living (ADLs). Our assisted living staff averages 16 plus years of experience, and hold a variety of degrees, certifications as well as the accolades of our residents and their families.

• Skilled Nursing - The recently renovated Health Care Center at Beacon Hill is located within The Mary And Martha Center. Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and competency evaluated nursing assistants, provide residents with short and long-term nursing care 24 hours a day. Ideally suited for a senior recovering from an illness, surgery, or requiring specific rehabilitation, our facility combines beautiful surroundings and medical care offerings with an unmatched level of professional service and dignity. The restorative care approach applied by our staff reinforces the healing and rehabilitation process while promoting independence.

• Dementia Care - Included in The Mary And Martha Center is a specialized program specially designed to provide care for residents suffering from various levels and forms of memory deficits. This program features residential suites rooms designed for people who have mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease or similar cognitive conditions. Our memory support staff focuses on each resident's quality of life by understanding and working to meet their unique cognitive, physical, spiritual, emotional and social needs with respect and dignity.
